Wedding detail: the jewelry box
Remember back when I lost my wedding necklaces (or at least thought I did)? It was a traumatic enough experience that, once I found them, I swore to put them in a safe place, never to be worn again.
True to my word, I found an adorable shadowbox with scalloped details, and a photo that showed me wearing the necklaces on our wedding day, which I had printed up in an 8"x8" square. With a little bit of maneuvering, I was able to fasten the necklaces to the back of the frame so they draped over the photo. And just like that, I turned the jewelry from a lovely liability into a precious work of art! The shadowbox lives in the sunroom among my beloved magazine collection, and I know now that the jewelry will never again be lost.
