Adventures in the Desert: Desert X 2019
Desert X 2019 was such a fun experience! Johnny and I fell in love with this biannual art exhibit in its debut year in 2017. Set in and around the desert landscapes of Palm Springs, this series of art installations casts its magic spell by taking its audience into pockets of the desert and desert-urban interface that they would likely never otherwise see. Each location the 2019 exhibit took us to, from an unused gym, to a massive water tank, to a translucent palm tree set deep down a desert path, gave us an experience unlike any other. Desert X 2019 is now closed, but the experience is planned to return in 2021, and we are already looking forward to it! Take a look below to see what our Desert X 2019 adventure was all about:
