I ♥ Fridays

For a few weeks now, Johnny has been obsessing over plans to build a new back deck. We have a beautiful, large back yard with gorgeous fruit and shade trees, but when it's not filled with rented farmhouse tables and chiavari chairs, as it was for our wedding reception, it becomes a little difficult to effectively use the space.

After a mini-marathon last night of our new HGTV obsession Fixer Upper, my handsome husband woke up this morning ready to build us a deck. I helped measure some things and provided ice water and sunscreen, but spent the rest of the afternoon soaking up the sunroom with a book and watching my big hunk work. New farmhouse deck... coming soon!
