Dream bathroom finishes, part two
The bathroom remodel is getting close to completion - real close. And as we wait anxiously for it to be in show-ready condition, I’ll continue gushing about my very favorite finishes (read part one here) - many of which we are implementing into our redo!
Sloped shower
A loft is a loft, with all its unique benefits and drawbacks. And although a dormer is being constructed to extend the vanity side of the room, the shower is still underneath a bit of a slope. No worries there, the sloped showers found on Pinterest are as cute as can be!
Subway tile
This beautiful white ceramic tile is our favorite look for shower walls. It is clean, classic, and you know how much we love our white walls.
White baroque stand-up mirror
Owning one of these beauties would make me feel like it was Drybar in my house, all the time. I’ve got to find a way to make it happen, I’ve just got to.
Porthole window
The perfect mix of nautical and vintage, a porthole window would be a delightful addition to the loft bathroom. And, I mean, just look how cute it is!
Frosted glass door
This inspiration was all Johnny, and although I think it will drive him crazy having the light shine down the hallway into the bedroom while I’m up late blowdrying my hair, he just loves the look of this frosted glass door - and I have to admit I do too.
Shiplap ceilings
You thought shiplap on the walls was adorable? Shiplap on the ceilings is positively transformative. Hello, cottage bathroom!
A place to sit
As a girl with a lot of hair, blowdrying it is a process that I choose to sit down for (usually while watching Netflix with the subtitles on). I personally like the idea of sitting in style on this Minnie Vanity Stool (in white) from Pottery Barn Teen.
